Trump’s behaviour spirals out of control, as staffers depart in droves whilst he grows ‘meaner’ and impossible to work alongside. {OK! Magazine 17 August}
FTA: President Donald Trump is reportedly yelling louder, for longer periods and acting significantly "meaner" toward his inner circle, driving a wave of recent high-profile White House departures.
According to insider reports detailed on "The Daily Beast Podcast," multiple senior officials are exiting the administration due to a toxic, increasingly hostile West Wing environment.
The reporting coincides with a series of major staff exits at the White House.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced she will step down at the end of August. While she publicly cited a desire to spend time with her family, insiders indicate the intense internal pressure and Trump’s sharpening temperament heavily influenced the timing.
White House Counsel David Warrington departed his post amidst the shifting operational environment.
Deputy National Security Advisor Andy Baker, a key ally of Vice President J.D. Vance, has also exited the administration.
"It's a clear sign that people see how badly this second term is going," said David Rhode, senior executive editor on national security for MS NOW on Monday, August 17.

Do not act surprised. Everybody knew it was a bad idea to bring this cretin back into office, and went along with it anyway. Such is precisely what ‘y’all’ have earned for so profound a lapse in judgement. It reflects rather poorly upon Kamala Harris that she was unable to defeat this senescent old goat — nor ought we pretend that it was not already apparent, by 2024, that advancing age was plainly beginning to exact its toll upon him — yet it reflects still more poorly upon the country itself that it restored this man to office and continues to tolerate the whole of the drama and nonsense that invariably accompanies him. The 2024 election resolved as it did, in substantial measure, because the dominant white working class shall never consent a Black woman as commander-in-chief; yet also because the cult of personality that Trump hath built over the years holds a death grip on the nation that was unable to be broken during the four years he was in exile.
Another elderly man was in the White House at that time, and all anybody did was whine and complain about how he — Mr Biden — was too old to be president, and then threw a collective hissy-fit when the gentleman suffered a couple of minor memory lapses during a debate. I defy anyone to recall a moment when Mr Biden — even now in his post-presidency and enduring cancer — ever appeared as decrepit as Trump does presently. Trump is eighty years of age and falling apart before our very eyes, and most of the people of this country either hold their tongues entirely or endeavour to gaslight those of us who do speak out into believing we are unhinged and unpatriotic for daring to utter or even think anything ill of the president. Altogether too many Americans are silent right now, because such a large portion of society hath cultivated an atmosphere steeped in fear and conformity.
The further Trump’s own person continues to deteriorate, the more desperate he and the #MAGA herd both are going to be to maintain their death grip upon America. Quite naturally, this shall yield greater tyranny still, and such a process is well under way. We stand upon exceedingly perilous ground, the most treacherous since this nation-killer’s rise to power a decade ago. It is all playing out in the most absurd fashion… I daresay someone, somewhere, derives entertainment from this fevered soap opera; yet we, meanwhile, are dying in earnest, and can no longer afford this man's excesses on any level.
